A Patriot’s Random Observations On The Republican Party’s Implosion

ELDER PATRIOT – The Republican Party leadership’s efforts to submarine Donald Trump’s candidacy is proof “that a government of the people, by the people, for the people” no longer serves their needs.  The Republican Party was formed in 1854 as a fusion party to end slavery.  Today the party leadership has joined with the Democrat Party and the World Marxist Movement in an effort to enslave everyone for the benefit of corporate slave masters.  The party’s rank and file realizes what’s happening and they are speaking out loudly but party leadership has no interest in listening.  Shame on them.  And shame on us if we allow them to foist another establishment candidate on us.

__________

The mainstream media (aka the Rockefeller Mediacracy) has picked up the Republican Party’s attempt to denigrate Trump and are claiming he’s not a true Conservative.  That’s chutzpah for you.  This is the party that has fully funded every piece of Marxist legislation and executive action President Obama and the Democrats have advanced.  Now they are falling all over themselves committing your jobs and your money to keeping our borders wide open despite have total control of both Houses of Congress.  Trump is clearly conservative on the issues of greatest importance to Americans – immigration, jobs, and putting America first – whereas the establishment candidates have proven they’re not.

__________

The big mistake made by the Oligarchs of both political parties was their belief that funding public education would provide the means for indoctrinating the people into acceptance of big government control over their lives.

Despite spending in excess of $227,000 per student K-12 in their effort to turn us into another dependent socialist society they miscalculated one major aspect of human behavior and one major aspect of our time – People are smart enough to know when it’s their ox that is being gored and they talk to each other when they’re unhappy.  In the “communication age” when people are losing their jobs and are worrying about the safety of their children that spells T-R-U-M-P.

__________

Why is the mainstream media (aka the Rockefeller Mediacracy) denigrating Trump if he’s “unelectable” and their goal is to get Hillary Clinton or another Democrat elected?  The smart money says it’s because the corporate owners fear that Trump truly is electable.  They remember another outsider – Ronald Reagan – who they also claimed was unelectable until two landslide victories proved their true intentions was to keep him off the ballot.  It’s taken the Ruling Elite 27 years to bring us to the brink again and they are going to do everything they can to guarantee Trump won’t reset that clock again like Reagan did from 1981-1988.

__________

The mainstream media is reporting that South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham’s endorsement of Jeb Bush will be a “major get” in gaining traction in Graham’s home state.  They must be high on meth.  Bush is languishing in single digits and Graham dropped out because he topped out at 1% in his home state.  Graham’s big hope was that South Carolina’s early positioning in the primary process would propel his candidacy by providing some needed early momentum.  When he read the polls he dropped out rather than be embarrassed and have the striking differences between him and Trump destroy what’s left of his sorry political career.  Graham’s endorsement is worthless.

__________

Ted Cruz threw a Hail Mary last night when he challenged Donald Trump on his New York values.  The reason he took that chance is because Trump is dominating polling in the southern states where Cruz must make significant inroads if he has any hopes of winning the nomination.  As Joe Scarborough witnessed, Trump is playing to crowds far larger and more energized than any that Ronald Reagan did.

__________

The Drudge Report has an overnight poll judging the winner of last night’s Republican debate.  It’s clearly a two horse race at this point.  There are 356,000 respondents at the time this went to press with Trump commanding 54% of the vote and Ted Cruz garnering another 31%.  Marco Rubio received a little over half of the remaining vote at 8%.

I don’t know what’s more satisfying, seeing Trump and Cruz crushing the party’s establishment so roundly or watching a deceitful, obfuscating duplicitous candidate like Rubio being so soundly rejected.

__________

All over the country Republican Party apparatchiks are lamenting the threat that Donald Trump poses to their little fiefdoms.  RNC Committeeman Holland Redfield of the Virgin Islands unwittingly spoke to this point yesterday in a twisted diatribe that suggested the party determines the voters’ position on issues and not the other way around.

Redfield essentially argued that Trump’s popularity is holding the party hostage from continuing to govern without the consent of the governed.  Incredibly, he contended Trump’s ability to bolt the party and run a third-party campaign is what’s handcuffing their ability to continue to ignore the will of their base.  Redfield argued, “As a party we owe it to ourselves to speak up, and not let the tail wag the dog, and not let someone say, all of a sudden, ‘If you don’t play my game, then I’m running as an independent.”

You can try that Mr. Redfield but you do so at your own risk.  You need to wake up, Holland, and realize that this is what democracy looks like!
