VIA| Whether you’re a lad or a lass, sitting down with a pot of Ben & Jerry’s is a pleasure we can all enjoy.
The only problem is, is that when you’re in the kind of mood to have Ben & Jerry’s, you’re probably having it with alcohol.
Well, Ben & Jerry’s have decided to team up with New Belgium Brewing to create some ice cream that will eliminate the need to dirty both the bowl you’re eating the ice cream in and the glass with which you drink your booze.
They’re calling it the Salted Caramel Brown-ie Ale flavour ice cream and is exactly what it says on the tin. Ice cream with alcohol in it. A hipster’s delight.
The limited edition range has apparently been created to fight climate change as all proceeds from the new flavour will be going to Protect Our Winters.
New Belgium Beer have also created a bottle of craft ale tasting like ice cream.
Ben & Jerry’s and New Belgium Brewing have been climate activists for as long as they’ve been crafting delicious ice cream and beer. After all, ice cream is best served frozen, and nothing compares to an ice-cold beer. Along with Protect Our Winters, we’re asking everyone to contact their governor and urge them to support the historic Clean Power Plan, the EPA’s first-ever regulation of carbon pollution from coal-fired power plants. Let’s keep our mountains snow-capped and ready to ride!
As with all good things, it won’t be available in the UK for the time being with the US being the testing ground for the new product’s success… lucky b*stards.
