VIA| Republican presidential frontrunner, Donald Trump, told a gathering of law enforcement officials in New Hampshire yesterday that should he be elected president, cop-killers are going to be given a much more severe punishment.
“Anybody caught killing a policeman, policewoman, police officer — anybody killing a police officer: death penalty,” he declared.

Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump on Thursday vowed to issue an executive order to mandate the death penalty for anyone who kills a police officer.
“One of the first things I’d do in terms of executive order, if I win, will be to sign strong, strong statement that would go out to the country, out to the world, anybody killing policeman police woman, police officer, anybody killing police officer, the death penalty is going to happen,” he said.
“We can’t let this go,” he added, speaking to a New Hampshire crowd alongside the New England Police Benevolent Association, shortly after the group voted to endorse Trump.

Trump referenced a high-profile case in which two police officers in New York City were shot and killed in their vehicle, by a murderer who was spurred on by rhetoric from the President and Mayor Bill de Blasio designed to create resentment against police officers.
At the funerals and at the hospital where the fallen officers had been taken, police officers turned their back on the mayor as a show of disgust for divisive comments that hinted he believed law enforcement consisted of a bunch of racists.
Trump it seems, won’t be turning his back on police officers with this new declaration to implement the death penalty for those who kill our men and women in blue.
