VIA| On Saturday, a normal day at the Leytonstone Subway Station quickly turned into a nightmare.
A man armed with a machete shouted ‘this is for Syria’ and then slashed a bystander’s throat.
The Independent has more details:
At least one man was seriously injured with a slashed throat after tube users at Leytonstone in east London were threatened with a large knife and attacked as they left the station.
The Met Police have said they are treating the attack as a ‘terrorist incident’.

Fortunately, the man, who remains unidentified at this time, was taken into police custody:

According to the Telegraph, one victim is in serious condition and two others have sustained injuries as well.
