VIA| If Donald Trump runs against Hillary Clinton, it’ll be an interesting contrast: a woman who used the trappings of office to get rich against a man who used his own money to attempt to change the country he loves.
In a Thursday campaign appearance in New Hampshire, The Donald proved yet again why he’s the favorite of so many Americans in this upcoming presidential election: unlike other politicians, who have drifted into politics to make money, Trump is doing just the opposite, and will take no official salary if elected.
Trump made the remarks at a town hall meeting in Rochester, to a round of vigorous applause.
“The first thing I’m going to do is tell you that if I’m elected president, I’m accepting no salary, okay?” Trump said in this video from Fox Business. “That’s no big deal for me.”
