VIA| Willie Nelson is a staple of American country music. He’s always stayed true to own sense of style and identity, and it’s this authenticity that has made a way for him in America’s hearts.
Willie recently recorded an album with long time friend, Merle Haggard, called “Django and Jimmie” and the powerhouse duo hit the road to tour. Unfortunately, they had to cancel a few shows because Willie was having health issues.
Finally Willie announced what exactly was going on.
“Over the years I’ve smoked a lot of cigarettes and I’ve had emphysema and pneumonia four or five times, so my lungs were really screwed up, and I had heard that this stem-cell operation would be good for them. So I said, ‘Well, I’m gonna try it out.’”
Stem cell research has been shown to produce amazing results in people who receive them. Keep Willie in your prayers, so he can continue making music for all of us!
