VIA| America is still furious about Beyonce performing a race-bating tribute to the Black Lives Matter movement and the Black Panther Party. But back in 2010, Carrie Underwood gave us perhaps the best Super Bowl performance in its 50 year history!
Just before the 2016 Super Bowl, Underwood reminded her fans on Facebook just what a moment it was.
While she sang, soldiers stationed at a NATO training mission in Kabul, Afghanistan were shown as viewers via satellite. You can watch (below) as professional NFL players start showing tears from her incredibly patriotic performance.
Watch (below) as Underwood sings at Super Bowl XLIV which was the New Orleans Saints against the Indianapolis Colts in Florida. The Saints won 31-17. While The Who sang the halftime show, Underwood sang “The Star-Spangled Banner” (below). Her singing in front of 100 million television viewers is breathtaking!
Unlike Beyonce, Carrie Underwood is 100% Class! Well done, Carrie!
