VIA| President Obama’s likely going to shed a few more crocodile tears — or throw a massive toddler-style temper tantrum — when he finds out there’s a lawsuit being filed against his gun control executive orders.

Read and weep, Mr. President.

From The Hill:

On the same day the Supreme Court agreed to hear a challenge to Obama’s action on immigration, the conservative advocacy group Freedom Watch announced it is filing alawsuit against the controversial gun orders.

Freedom Watch accuses Obama of circumventing Congress to “invent” new gun laws.

“The president states that he is doing so purely because he does not like the legislative decisions of the Congress,” wrote Larry Klayman, the founder of Freedom Watch, who is also a National Rifle Association member.

“These actions are unconstitutional abuses of the president’s and executive branch’s role in our nation’s constitutional architecture and exceed the powers of the president as set forth in the U.S. Constitution,” he continued.

This is believed to be the first in what is expected to become a series of legal challenges over Obama’s gun orders. But many legal experts predict the executive action will prevail.

The lawsuit was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. In addition to Obama, it also names as defendants Attorney General Loretta Lynch and Thomas Brandon, director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

This is exactly the sort of action conservatives need to take in order to combat the president’s atrocious violation of the separation of powers and the Second Amendment.

Background checks have already proven to be a massive failure when it comes to stopping bad guys from getting guns and carrying out horrific acts of violence.

Why in the world would you want to try more of the same solution, knowing it’s guaranteed to fail? Isn’t trying the same thing over and over while expecting a different result the definition of insanity?

It doesn’t make sense. Unless, of course, your end goal isn’t about gun safety, but about taking firearms away from the public so they can’t resist your tyrannical government programs. Then it makes perfect sense.
