About four years ago, National Geographic ran a television series called Doomsday Preppers in which they attempted in many subtle and overt ways, to show Americans who were either patriots or self-sufficient as kooks, conspiracy theorists, and a threat to the State. But after a recent G20 meeting held by the elite on the state of the economy, the move towards prepping suddenly became important to the 1%ers, who are now spending tens of millions of dollars each creating bunkers and bug-out locations in fear of a coming collapse.
Yet ironically, those in government or the media rarely report on these elitist preppers, and instead separate their actions as prudent while labeling those being done by the common citizen as tied to fear mongering.
When it comes to “prepping”, many among the elite take things to an entirely different level. As you will see below, the elite are willing to pay big money for cutting edge home security measures, luxury bomb shelters and superyacht getaway submarines. Some of the things that the elite are demanding for their own protection go beyond even what we would see in a James Bond film, and serving the prepping needs of the elite has become a multi-billion dollar business. Meanwhile, the media outlets that the elite own continue to mock the rest of us for getting prepared. All the time we see headlines like this one that appeared in a major American news source: “Preppers: Meet the paranoid Americans awaiting the apocalypse“. Well, if we are paranoid for setting aside some extra food and supplies for the future, what does that make the people that you will read about in this article?
The elite live in a world that is completely different from the world that you and I live in. In wealthy enclaves of major global cities such as London, elitists are willing to shell out massive amounts of money to ensure that everyone else is kept out. The following comes from an article that was just published a few hours ago by the London Evening Standard entitled “The paranoid world of London’s super-rich: DNA-laced security mist and superyacht getaway submarines“… – The Economic Collapse Blog
There is an interesting difference in the mindsets between those who prep for the unknown, and those in the 1% who prep. Americans in locations where weather, climate change, job loss, and the recognition of a dying economy choose to prep for survival in the cases of a loss of power, urban commerce, and events such as Hurricane Katrina, and do so with the remembrance of what happened in New Orleans several years back where a hurricane and flood decimated the city. But for the elite, their preparations are being done out of fear of the majority, who they beleive will quickly and rightfully single them out as much of the reasons behind the coming destruction of the economy and society.
Instead of seeking to entice community, the rich are building their fortresses to keep out others and let the world collapse into chaos and anarchy. But true preppers know that no residence or community can go it alone, and fancy yachts and underground palaces will not sustain a family like working together with neighbors and cooperation will should the unthinkable occur to America in the future.
