ELDER PATRIOT – President Obama’s tenure has been characterized by his use of Saul Alinski’s twelfth rule: “pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it,” to ostracize and then eliminate his political opponents. This is not the tactic of a man seeking bi-partisan solutions to a nation’s problems but the actions of a dictator bent on destroying opposing viewpoints.
Today our increasingly emboldened would be dictator stepped up his rhetoric against United States citizens who disagree with him:
“I realize that resorting to force may be tempting in the face of the rhetoric and behavior that emanates from parts of Iran. It is offensive. It is incendiary. We do take it seriously. But superpowers should not act impulsively in response to talks… Just because Iranian hardliners chant ‘Death to America” does not mean that that’s what all Iranians believe. In fact, it’s those hardliners that are more satisfied with the status quo. It’s those hardliners chanting “death to America” who’ve been most opposed to the deal. They’re making common cause with the Republican Caucus.”
The president’s comments are at once, a lie, misleading, and offensive.
While Barack Hussein is correct that a nation should not be held accountable for the incendiary rants of a radical fringe his characterization of those chanting “death to America” as a radical fringe outlier of the Iranian political scene is a bald-faced lie. These are the same leaders of Iran who his emissaries have shared the bargaining table with and trusted in these negotiations. Obama is either a complete fool (not likely) or driven by an agenda of advancing Islamist influence around the world (most likely in light of his dismissive treatment of other leaders who head our allied non-Islamic nations.)
His decision to denigrate the Republican Caucus is another matter. Should the caucus decide to oppose the Iranian Nuke deal they will be acting in good conscience and with a greater amount of popular support than Obama, Reid, and Pelosi did when they rammed through the Affordable Healthcare Act. Slurring Republicans who speak for a clear majority of United States voters in this way is the action of a dictator who will tolerate only the unquestioning acquiescence of his political opponents or he will seek their complete destruction.
With a year and one-half left in his presidency, and with a congress that has caved to every one of his requests, and with no personal electoral prospects to protect, our growingly more arrogant Marxist president is a very dangerous man.
