VIA| While President Obama whacks a few balls around in his virtual driving range deep inside the White House, doing next to nothing to stop ISIS and their reign of brutality, hackers from the group Anonymous continue to go on the offensive against the radical terror group.
Aside from claiming to shut down over 5,000 ISIS Twitter accounts, the group has also published the personal contact information of individuals supposedly working for the group.
It’s a sad day when the leader of the free world is getting out done on foreign policy by a group of highly organized computer hackers.
The masked hacking group declared war against the Islamic State in the wake of the Paris attacks, vowing to silence extremist propaganda and expose undercover operatives.
Now it has leaked details of at least five men it claims are recruiters for the terror group, as well as taking down 5,500 Twitter accounts.
Mirror Online has seen the names, addresses and phone numbers of men living in countries including Afghanistan, Tunisia and Somalia.
Anonymous activists also claimed to have identified a “high-ranking” recruiter living in Europe, but have not yet published an address.
We have contacted some of the men who have been named, but they have not replied and we have been unable to verify if the allegations against them are true.
Some might wonder what exactly Anonymous hopes to accomplish by posting such information online. Well, not only do these folks get exposed, but you can bet your bottom dollar authorities will start investigating these individuals, which means possible arrests, busts, and thwarted terror plots.
Granted, I feel this would be more of a win if it were done by our own intelligence agencies and the Department of Defense, but hey, if they aren’t going to do their jobs, I guess somebody else will.
At this point, I just want ISIS and their insanity brought to an end.
It’ll be interesting to see how this “war” escalates as time goes on.
