Modern America: Joseph Goebbels Vision Realized

ELDER PATRIOT – “The war we are fighting until victory or the bitter end is in its deepest sense a war between Christ and Marx. Christ: the principle of love. Marx: the principle of hate.”

Joseph Goebbels was the master propagandist serving the Nazi regime and the dictator of its cultural life for twelve years.  Now, seventy years after his death his quotes are as prescient as ever in describing the Secular-Left’s successful use of propaganda to orchestrate the American people’s acceptance of their growing oppression.

Goebbels then:  It would not be impossible to prove with sufficient repetition and a psychological understanding of the people concerned that a square is in fact a circle. They are mere words, and words can be molded until they clothe ideas and disguise.”

Today’s Secular-Left: It would not be impossible to prove with sufficient repetition and a psychological understanding of the people concerned that a gestating baby is just a mass of tissue.

Goebbels’ method to success then:  “Think of the press as a great keyboard on which the government can play.”

Today’s Secular-Left’s method to success:  The Rockefeller Mediacracy that promotes the Secular-Left and its agenda exclusively.

Goebbels’ goal then: “The essence of propaganda consists in winning people over to an idea so sincerely, so vitally, that in the end they succumb to it utterly and can never escape from it.”

Today’s Secular-Left: Has embraced abortion so fervently, even so far as to demand the abortion of fully formed babies crowning from the mother’s womb, that attempting a discussion with them about limiting any form of abortion is impossible.  When advised that they are aligned with the eugenicist Margaret Sanger they change the subject.

Goebbels then: “What does Christianity mean today? National Socialism is a religion. All we lack is a religious genius capable of uprooting outmoded religious practices and putting new ones in their place. We lack traditions and ritual. One day soon National Socialism will be the religion of all Germans. My Party is my church, and I believe I serve the Lord best if I do his will, and liberate my oppressed people from the fetters of slavery. That is my gospel.”

The Secular-Left today:  One day soon National Socialism will be the religion of all Americans. My Party is my church, and I believe I serve the Lord best if I do his will, and liberate my oppressed people from the fetters of slavery. That is my gospel.”

Goebbels then: “We shall reach our goal, when we have the power to laugh as we destroy, as we smash, whatever was sacred to us as tradition, as education, and as human affection.”

Today’s Secular-Left’s has been so successful in advancing its agenda using Goebbels’ rules of propaganda that today those Americans still clinging to our Founding Principles are ridiculed and looked down upon.

America was settled by generations of immigrants rooted in their belief in God.  Many were fleeing from religious persecution while some were seeking to capitalize on the opportunities that America’s freedom afforded them.  Regardless, their mutual beliefs grounded in the commonality of Judeo-Christian principles created a foundation for righteous governance both domestically and on the international stage.  With the rise of the Secular-Left, America lost much of her virtuosity to such an extent that righteous governance no longer is the hallmark of American policy-makers.

Goebbels explained the Nazi movement thusly: “We enter parliament in order to supply ourselves, in the arsenal of democracy, with its own weapons. If democracy is so stupid as to give us free tickets and salaries for this bear’s work, that is its affair. We do not come as friends, nor even as neutrals. We come as enemies. As the wolf bursts into the flock, so we come.”  Unfortunately, America’s Secular-Left comes with the same intentions.
