MOM’s Facebook Post About DAUGHTER’s ENCOUNTER With BLACK TEEN In Shop GOES VIRAL … WHOA

VIA| Turning on the news each day we could be forgiven for thinking that the world is a pretty horrible place. Which is why when a positive story rolls around, like this post describing a college football player’s act of kindness, it almost immediately goes viral.

The story began when the university freshman overheard a conversation between a mother and her two-year-old daughter in the toy section of an Indiana Target.

Megan Shufflebarger described what happened in a Facebook post that has since been shared 124,000 times.

“My heart is about to explode,” she wrote. “We were in Target tonight and this younger couple was walking thru the toy aisles listening to Kinley ooh and ahhh and make her birthday list of doll goodies.”

The teen asked Kinley which doll she had picked out and she told him, “I really lub dis one.”

When Kinley asked where the doll she wanted had gone, Fuller returned with the doll in a bag with a receipt and wished the little girl a happy birthday.

In the post, she hoped someone in the Lafayette, Indiana area would recognise him. After more than 55,000 shares, someone tagged the little girl’s hero in the post: Tario Fuller II, a freshman football player for Purdue University.

“We couldn’t be more proud of the type of young men and women in our athletics department,” Purdue Athletics wrote in a post on its Facebook page.

“This one act of kindness has likely generated thousands of smiles, softened many hearts and inspired others,” Megan Shufflebarger said. “That in and of itself makes my heart full and happy.”

This is pretty heartwarming stuff. If you’re now in the mood for some even more serious feels, this mum’s powerful open letter to her son’s bullies is inspiring the whole internet.
