VIA| When Zoe Turner bought her $55 “bodycon” dress, she had no idea how her actions would save her life. When she suited up for a night of partying and climbed into a taxi with friends, the dress would end up as the only thing between her and certain death.
The taxi was involved in a terrible wreck during their drive to the club. The driver suffered a broken neck, and her friends survived with broken arms, eye sockets, and a broken pelvis. In Zoe’s case, doctors said she should have died…if it weren’t for her dress acting as a corset.
“Although [it] didn’t come off lightly,” according to Zoe, the end result saved her life. For that, that Zoe feels lucky to be alive. “I couldn’t believe my dress saved my life. That’s the best [$55] I’ve ever spent.”
