VIA| The White House blasted out a tweet this morning of the president defending the religion of Islam, reiterating the same old tired talking point of how ISIS — or ISIL as he puts it — does not speak for the Muslim religion.
Our Commander-in-Chief would do anything to protect the very people attacking us and their belief system, proving he doesn’t really care about our nation at all.
Sorry, Mr. President, but ISIS does indeed speak for Islam. Now, does that mean every single Muslim in the world is a Jihadist? Of course not! Nor should they all be treated as such.
However, that doesn’t mean we turn a blind eye to the fact the teachings of Islam, in some way, shape, or form, have led to these folks carrying out heinous acts in the name of Allah.
If ISIS truly does not represent Islam, moderate Muslims — if they exist — need to come out and condemn such actions en masse. They should prove they want to be part of the solution to this problem.
Regardless, the president’s refusal to acknowledge that maybe, just maybe, the problem does have something to do with Islam is why nothing truly gets done to stop ISIS and the spread of radical Jihadist thinking.
