Secret Pentagon document shows U.S. now involved in state sponsored terrorism through ISIS

Ever since the Islamic Caliphate, or ISIS, burst onto the scene out of the turmoil of the Syrian conflict, many people have speculated on whether the United States had a hand in either their creation, or as an adviser to their conquests.  That answer can now be validated as a secret Pentagon document released on May 23 through the efforts of investigative reporter Nafeez Ahmed shows that not only was the U.S. involved in state supported terrorism through the ragtag Al Qaeda groups seeking to overthrow Bashir Assad, but they also are tied to the rise of ISIS, and in lockstep with the Caliphate’s goals.

According to investigative reporter Nafeez Ahmed in Medium, the “leaked document reveals that in coordination with the Gulf states and Turkey, the West intentionally sponsored violent Islamist groups to destabilize Assad, despite anticipating that doing so could lead to the emergence of an ‘Islamic State’ in Iraq and Syria (ISIS).

From Nafeez Ahmed: Secret Pentagon report reveals West saw ISIS as strategic asset Anti-ISIS coalition knowingly sponsored violent extremists to ‘isolate’ Assad, rollback ‘Shia expansion’, originally posted in Medium – Zerohedge.

This revelation also puts into perspective President Obama’s relationship with other Islamic terror organizations such as the Muslim Brotherhood, who not only have assets within the State Department and Obama’s administration, but were used in helping to topple Egypt by another violent overthrow of a sovereign government.

Earlier this week, ISIS pulled a major coup by ‘slipping in’ and taking the Iraqi town of Ramadi, supposedly under the nose of the U.S. and regional coalition forces.  However, the truth of the matter is that ISIS took over the town not in the middle of darkness, but with caravans of troops and munitions that stretched out for miles leading up to the city.  Even the blindest analyst watching satellite footage of the region could have both seen and prepared for an attack that would have wiped out a huge chunk of the Islamic Caliphate, but instead the President’s cabinet acted with surprise and ignorance when they spoke before reporters on the ‘sudden’ loss of the city.

The bottom line is that nearly all terrorist activity occurring in the Middle East and Central Asia is state sponsored, with evidence now linking the U.S. as a major contributor to the rise of ISIS and the death of tens of thousands of innocent lives.  And while Congress continues to play the political game of a need for continuing the ‘War on Terror’ against a mysterious foe that according to the FBI, cannot be determined even with six years of total and complete surveillance, the sad fact is that the real terrorists for decades have been rogue government elements within the political and military spheres of Washington, and that unfortunately now labels America as a terrorist state.
