VIA| A veterinarian named Melanie Butera received a new patient during the summer of 2004 — a blind fawn named Dillie.
And Dillie was dying.
Butera and her husband nursed the poor deer back to health and the deer is now very much a part of their family.
She gets treated like a kid and apparently loves lollipops. She even has her own bedroom.
This is so heartwarming!
