VIA| Here’s the deal – the whole Obama is a Muslim controversy started up again because Donald Trump did not correct a man in the audience who asked him a question about the president’s faith.
It’s stupid, but when liberals see an opportunity to hammer a GOP candidate, they take it.
Trump came out afterwards rightfully saying that it’s not his job to correct the president, while many Republican candidates like Jeb Bush and Chris Christie have defended 44, saying he is unequivocally Christian.
Sen. Ted Cruz on the other hand, delivers the perfect response to the whole situation…
From The Blaze:
When Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) was asked Saturday if he’s “one of those” who doesn’t believe Barack Obama is a Christian, the GOP presidential candidate said he wouldn’t speculate on Obama’s spirituality.
“The president’s faith is between him and God,” Cruz told reporters in Des Moines, Iowa, the Huffington Post reported.
That’s all that needed to be said.
Like Trump, Cruz doesn’t need to stick up for Obama.
Cruz was also a National Debate champion while in college, so the man knows how to frame his words eloquently and with gumption.
