ELDER PATRIOT – What if everything you believe about the Secular-Left is a lie? What if there is really a great Left-wing conspiracy bent on destroying the principles that America was built on in order to advance the agenda of the world communist movement?
What if, America standing as that “shining city on a hill” serving as a beacon for the souls of freedom-loving people everywhere represented a threat to the world communist movement that had to be defeated?
What if the Left used convoluted reasoning and lies supported by bogus science, economic theory and behavioral assumptions to convince you that they’re smarter than you are so you should just shut up and hand your money over to them so they can get on with fixing things? And then told you to stop asking questions because you’re too stupid to understand any of this anyways? And, besides there’s a consensus, haven’t you heard?
What if the Left fabricates solutions in the form of government programs so that their campaign contributors, constituents and they, themselves, become enriched at your expense?
What if Ronald Reagan really did understand our Founding Principles and the men who framed them?
“The one thing our Founding Fathers could not foresee — they were farmers, professional men, businessmen giving of their time and effort to an idea that became a country — was a nation governed by professional politicians who had an interest in getting re-elected. They probably envisioned a fellow serving a couple of hitches and then eagerly looking forward to getting back to the farm.”
What if Reagan understood today’s career politicians better than the Left wants you to realize. What if those championing themselves as dedicated lifelong public servants concerned with the plight of the less fortunate are really only interested in feeding at the trough created by the government programs instituted for the alleged purposes of fixing those problems? Don’t believe it? Then ask yourself why, under their leadership, these programs continue growing in need and cost, indebting us dearly in the process, five and ten decades after the inception of the government programs designed to fix them?
What if Reagan was right about the government’s design for failure?
“Governments have a tendency not to solve problems, only to rearrange them.”
“No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Government programs, once launched, never disappear. Actually, a government bureau is the nearest thing to eternal life we’ll ever see on this earth!”
What if Reagan was right about his faith in God?
“Within the covers of the Bible are the answers for all the problems men face.”
What if the Left rejects the existence of God because He stands in direct opposition to Left’s need for government to be omnipotent?
What if Ronald Reagan truly understood the American Left? What if, having lost two landslide elections to Reagan’s common sense answers to America’s problems they knew they could not win the people over by debate so they did everything they could to discredit him?
Sam Donaldson’s comments were representative of the frustrated mainstream media who failed to derail Reagan’s rekindling of our Framers’ vision:
“So I think (Ronald Reagan) is going to have to pass three tests. The first is, will he get there, stand in front of the podium, and not drool.”
History and the facts belie the Left’s incessant demand for further intrusion into our lives and increasing taxes to expand failed government programs that were never intended to solve society’s problems but rather to increase dependency on government, indebt the American people, and destroy our national sovereignty.
What if Reagan was right, that:
“You and I have a rendezvous with destiny. We will preserve for our children this, the last best hope of man on Earth, or we will sentence them to take the last step into a thousand years of darkness.”
