THIS Is What A TEXAS GOVERNOR DOES When LIBERALS DEMAND They Take ‘IN GOD WE TRUST’ OFF POLICE CARS

VIA| Liberals have long been promoting the campaign to remove any references to God from anything government-owned – so far they have been fairly successful, leading to a ban on prayer in public schools and even the removal of a private-funded monument of the Ten Commandments from the Oklahoma State Capitol.

But now they brought that very same fight to the very right-wing, proudly religious state of Texas and as many of you could have guessed, pretty much got laughed out of town!

The aggressively atheist group known as the “Freedom From Religion Foundation” has been sending letters to police departments across the United States, urging them to remove any references to “In God We Trust” from their state-owned vehicles.

This story was first reported by the L.A. Times, not surprising considering the liberal enclave that the majority of California has become. But obviously what may work in California doesn’t always work in Texas.

In response to the campaign against “In God We Trust”, Texas Governor Greg Abbott made public his support for putting the nation’s motto on police vehicles. He even wrote a letter to the Texas attorney general, assuring him that, “As the Supreme Court has held time and time again, the Constitution commands acknowledgement and accommodation of religion, rather than hostility. Given these well-established principles, it is unsurprising that ‘In God We Trust’ has survived every legal challenge.”
