ROMNEY WORDSWORTH – At great political risk, Donald Trump went to Mexico yesterday at the invitation of the President of Mexico for a face to face meeting. It could have been a setup. The Mexicans could have staged violent protests and trapped Trump’s motorcade, like the DNC’s hired thugs like to do to Trump Rallies in America. Mexican President Nieto could have used the occasion to insult and mock Trump in public, as Ted Cruz tried to do with his speaking slot at the RNC. But none of that happened.
Instead Trump looked presidential as he met with President Nieto, and looked like he already is America’s Diplomat in Chief. Donald Trump spoke unapologetically about his top priority: The welfare of the American People. While President Nieto gave a long rambling speech in Spanish (without translation), Trump’s remarks were concise and cogent. Trump boasted that his meeting with Nieto was a substantive and constructive exchange of ideas. Nieto did not deny this. Trump went on to say he was straight forward in representing the impact of current policies on immigration and trade on the United States. Trump emphasized his love for America. Trump was what America has not seen since Ronald Reagan: A champion for American interests, with undivided loyalty and patriotism for the United States.
The move caught the American Media flat footed. The Donald boarded Trump Force One and it was wheels up and off to Mexico while Trump’s media entourage was left behind. There were no prior leaks of the meeting to the press.
Upon returning to the United States, Trump flew to Arizona and gave a major policy address on immigration, with a specific 10 point plan. The specifics of the Trump Plan are:
Number One: We will build a wall along the Southern Border.
Number Two: End Catch-And-Release.
Number Three: Zero tolerance for criminal aliens.
Number Four: Block Funding For Sanctuary Cities.
Number Five: Cancel Unconstitutional Executive Orders & Enforce All Immigration Laws.
Number Six: We Are Going To Suspend The Issuance Of Visas To Any Place Where Adequate Screening Cannot Occur.
Number Seven: We will ensure that other countries take their people back when we order them deported.
Number Eight: We will finally complete the biometric entry-exit visa tracking system.
Number Nine: We will turn off the jobs and benefits magnet.
Number 10: We will reform legal immigration to serve the best interests of America and its workers.
Trump went on, “The time has come for a new immigration commission to develop a new set of reforms to our legal immigration system in order to achieve the following goals:
- To keep immigration levels, measured by population share, within historical norms
- To select immigrants based on their likelihood of success in U.S. society, and their ability to be financially self-sufficient. We need a system that serves our needs – remember, it’s America First.
- To choose immigrants based on merit, skill and proficiency
And to establish new immigration controls to boost wages and to ensure that open jobs are offered to American workers first.”
According to the Center for Immigration Studies, there are 300 Sanctuary Cities in America that ignored 17,000 requests to detain illegal aliens eligible for deportation, the overwhelming majority of whom had prior criminal records, in less than two years.
Trump had a large number of Angel Moms, Americans who have lost a child to violence by illegal aliens, come up on stage with him where their stories were discussed at length. No other politician in America is willing to do this. No other American is willing to put the safety and interests of Americans first. Hillary Clinton and the DemocRats will only talk about immigration within the context of the needs of immigrants who desire to come to the United States. Hillary Clinton wants to give blanket amnesty to every illegal alien in the country (probably around 30 million) and increase the importation of so-called Syrian Refugees by 550%. Donald Trump approaches the immigration debate from the other end of the spectrum: How will immigration benefit the American People?
Immigration is one of the most important issues to voters this election cycle. Trump beats Clinton on immigration in every way for voters who want a safer, more prosperous America. The phony polling firms will have to start over-sampling DemocRats by 25% to continue the lie that Hillary is tied with Trump in this race.
