ELDER PATRIOT – As the media seeks to shape your opinion against Donald Trump we will be here to help set things straight. Should Mr. Trump offer an opinion or a statement that threatens our Constitutionally protected rights we will call him to task as well.
This headline in today’s New York Post cannot be left unchallenged:
The word “wins” was deliberately used to mislead the reader. The only thing Ted Cruz won in Colorado was the approval of Republican apparatchiks who were looking to protect their little fiefdoms, GOP credit cards, and the D.C. gravy train. Behaving like a crime family in an attempt to protect their turf is not what a free people should tolerate from their leaders.
The writer makes no comment about the actions of the entrenched powers who decided to put an end to elections that would’ve allowed their rank and file to express their desires in who their leader should be.
Colorado’s communists bragged about their takeover of the Republican Party after they were finished by posting on the GOP website, “We did it. #NeverTrump.”
The significance of all of this cannot be overstated. Should Coloradans accept this quietly this will become the new norm across the country and any challenge to the oligarchy will be rebuffed by simply suspending elections to disenfranchise the people.
Donald Trump properly questioned the process in this tweet: “How is it possible that the people of the great State of Colorado never got to vote in the Republican Primary? Great anger – totally unfair!”
The headline instead accuses Trump of whining. The real story is how the Republican Party has completely delegitimized itself as being a worthy representative of the people of a free republic.
Ted Cruz knows this as well but his ambition and his avarice trumps his reverence for our Constitutional protections. The Founding Fathers must be rolling over in their graves listening to Ted Cruz compare himself to Antonin Scalia.
