VIA| A teenage boy amazed shoppers at a Salvation Army thrift store in Grass Valley, California, when he put his amazing piano talent to good use.

No one expected much from the long-haired, sweatshirt wearing teen when he sat down at the old piano. But once he started to play…everyone’s jaws dropped.

Seeking no kind of recognition or fame, the teen simply wanted to play some music on the old piano sitting in the thrift store.

Without a hint of hesitation, the boy sat down at the old wooden standup piano for sale, and busted out Chopin’s “Waltz In D Flat Major, Op. 64” – from memory.

The woman who filmed the amazing performance, Melinda Fenley Smith, recognized God’s favor present in the boy’s talent. Here’s her story:

“Ok so I walked into the Salvation Army store in Grass Valley Ca just in time to hear this young man playing. When he finished I asked him to play again so I can share with everyone. This young man is by far gifted beyond comprehension. As he played for me I stood there speechless with tears streaming knowing that I was amidst God’s favor.”

Through the boy’s undeniable talent and passion for music, the anonymous teen has inspired thousands through his performance on social media.
