VIA| An Austrian watercraft design company called Migaloo has just dreamt up an insane structure which not only has a 262-foot elevator, a beach club, a cinema and a “jungle deck”, but also manages to float (somehow). Called Kokomo Ailand, it is a “floating habitat based on semi-submersible platforms, customizable in size, shape and features.”
Before you get your panties in a bunch, no it’s not real – it’s just a concept. Despite its somewhat fantastical nature I was completely on board with this (so to speak) until I read the words “underwater elevator for shark feeding”. When those five words are put together in that order, it begins to sound a bit like it was designed by a 10-year-old boy.
