WATCH: The Startling Moment Patriots Confront 'MAN' HITTING A WOMAN In Parking Lot

VIA| Cell phone video was captured of an Oklahoma man attacking a woman in a pickup truck before being subdued by some good Samaritans. The alleged assailant faces multiple charges.

Douglas Beckham, 52, was allegedly seen attacking a woman in an Oklahoma City shopping center parking lot with what was later determined to be a flashlight.

Apparently, the fight initially started because Beckham refused to buy the woman food from a drive-thru restaurant. Both he and the woman are homeless and live in two vehicles.

The video shows several cuts and abrasions on the woman’s legs. Several men passing through Oklahoma City on their way to El Paso, Texas, intervened to stop Beckham from causing any further harm.

“Stay out of it guys!” Beckham shouted to the group. “Stay out of it!”

“What are you going to do?” one of the men asked.

“Stay out of it!” Beckham screamed again.

“What are you gonna f**king do?” the man challenged again.

“Stay the f**k out of it!” stressed Beckham.

Finally, the altercation escalated to the point where the men physically attacked Beckham, attempting to get him out of his vehicle. He initially drove away before driving back toward the bystanders. KFOR describes what happened next:

It’s then that the man behind the camera takes off, jumps into the bed of the truck, and smashes a window before [Beckham] flees. The suspect was arrested later in the day.

The incident occurred on August 6, but the video has only started circulating this week.

“When I first saw the video, I did not know the video was connected to Oklahoma or Oklahoma City,” Capt. Paco Balderrama of the Oklahoma City Police Department told KFOR. “I was very surprised, it`s very alarming, it`s a very sad video.”

Balderrama also noted, “We don’t advocate to the level that it went. Call the police, let us handle it…once people are out of harm’s way, let the professionals handle it.”

Beckham is being held in jail for two counts of assault with a deadly weapon and one count of domestic assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. KFOR notes the two counts of assault with a deadly weapon are for driving his vehicle in a threatening way toward the bystanders.
