While Obama Snaps Selfies in Alaska, Military SHOCKINGLY Photographs THIS Off Coast of Georgia!!

VIA| During President Barack Obama’s visit to Alaska last week, news began circulating of Chinese warships hovering around the area — the first time they had ever been that far north in recent memory.

Now reports have also come in of a Russian spy ship being tracked 300 miles off the coast of Georgia, near the Florida border. The spy ship’s destination is Cuba — or at least that’s what Russia claims.

Of course, none of this was enough to spoil Obama’s chance to chastise everyone for not believing in global warming. Why let Chinese and Russian aggression interrupt a perfectly good blame-fest?

The Russian ship in question, described as being “capable of cutting undersea communications cables and other sensors,” was off the coast of Kings Bay, Georgia, which happens to be the home of the U.S. Navy’s East Coast ballistic missile submarine fleet.

I’m sure that’s just a coincidence.

The naval base is reportedly the home of six “boomers” — Ohio-class ballistic missile submarines capable of firing 24 Trident intercontinental ballistic missiles apiece.

The Pentagon continued to track the ship. However, it is remaining in international waters, so the U.S. military cannot do much about its presence.

When asked if the United States had similar spy ships off the coast of Russia, a senior defense official told Fox News, “Of course we do. What do you think all those ‘oceanographic ships’ are doing, studying whales?” (H/TYoung Conservatives)

Russia has been increasing its military presence around America significantly in the past few months. There has been an uptick in the number of Russian nuclear-capable bombers that stray just a little too close to the U.S. coastline, and now there is a spy ship 300 miles from our beaches.

It seems that our enemies are preparing for something … should we be preparing as well?
