VIA| Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani just sat down for their first interview ever as a couple, and you can tell from the way they talk about each other these two are crazy in love.
Access Hollywood talked to Blake and Gwen just after she helped mentor his team members for the upcoming 10th season of “The Voice.” As you know, Gwen is not appearing as a coach this season, but Blake figured out a way to get his girlfriend back on the show as a mentor.
He says, “It’s like, you start thinking, who are the ultimate artists you can get to mentor your team. And it’s like, wait a minute! This is perfect. And I actually know her. It’ll be easy to call her. I’ll see her somewhere, and be like, ‘Hey!’”
In addition to their romantic relationship, Blake says he loves working with Gwen professionally, too.
“We know we collaborate well as coaches, so of course I’m going to have her as my mentor,” Blake says. “And she’s so smart and talented.”
Gwen couldn’t say enough good things about her man in the interview as well.
“He’s really perceptive about voices, and he’s just really good at what he does. That’s why he’s a winner, and it was really fun to be in there with him and learn a little bit today.”
“The Voice” season 10 premieres Feb. 29 on NBC.
In other Blake news, he’s one of the main stars appearing in the new movie, “American Saturday Night: Live From The Grand Ole Opry,” playing exclusively at more than 200 Carmike Cinemas starting Friday, Feb. 12. You can get tickets at MovieTickets.com and Fandango.
