“SO ILLEGAL” COMEY FACING SERIOUS TIME Over NEW Revelations About His ‘TRUMP MEMOS’

ELDER PATRIOT - Revelations surrounding Former F.B.I. Director James Comey are growing curiouser and curiouser.

Why would a seasoned lawman admit in sworn testimony before Congress that he’s written “private” memos memorializing his meetings with President Trump?  He well knew that those memos were not his property given that he wrote them while serving as the director of the F.B.I.

Compounding that breach, he admitted leaking them to a “friend” who didn’t even have the necessary security clearance to view them.

Now we are learning that some of the memos also contained “Secret” and “Top Secret” classifications.

These are not the actions of someone with Comey’s professional pedigree so what in the world was/is he doing?

Let’s start with his confessed determination to have a Special Counsel appointed to look into President Trump despite the fact that Comey had been leading the world’s premier investigative agency in the investigation of Trump for eleven months and had come up empty.  He not only had no proof of any of the allegations swirling around Trump, he didn’t even find a hint of a scandal.

He also refused to publicly acknowledge that Trump was in the clear. Why? Besides himself who was Comey protecting?

The only logical explanation is that Comey was faced with two very unattractive choices:

Tell the American people (and the world) what the F.B.I.’s investigation into Hillary Clinton had uncovered – including everything about her entire criminal enterprise - and risk committing suicide in Fort Marcy Park or,
Pass the whole thing on to someone else who President Trump and his Attorney General Jeff Sessions had no control over so that he or she could protect the swamp.

Once Hillary’s illegal email server surfaced and the F.B.I. began an investigation Comey realized he was sitting on political and criminal dynamite. It’s no secret that one agent with intimate knowledge of the Clinton email investigation characterized what Comey was dealing with thusly:

“There is enough for her and the entire government to be brought down.  People do not realize how enormous this whole situation actually is.

“The problem is with the Clinton Foundation as I mentioned, which you should just imagine as a massive spider web of connections and money laundering implicating hundreds of high-level people.

“…This case would explode into a million other cases if fully brought to light, and then we would be one agency competing against the entire government and a hoard of other interests.

Comey chose to bury his head, closed the investigation, destroyed what evidence he was aware of, and publicly castigated Clinton but brought no charges. Perhaps that explains why Obama appointed Comey in the first place. Otherwise, it simply defies credulity that at least a hint of corruption this extensive escaped his detection while he was serving under Obama.

Comey was probably ecstatic to be fired and to be out from under Trump’s mandate to “drain the swamp.” The solution worked for the corrupt establishment politicians, as well.

They used the ginned up Trump-Russia collusion allegations to force Jeff Sessions to recuse himself because he was once seen shaking the hand of a Russian ambassador. Rod Rosenstein – a Democrat – was next in line to appoint the Special Counsel.

Rosenstein appointed Robert Mueller. To the uniformed and naïve Mueller appears to be more than qualified. And he may very well be if your goal is to protect the corrupt Washington establishment.

Mueller had been the F.B.I. director prior to Comey’s appointment. His twelve-year tenure ended without scandal. That may seem to qualify him to investigate a president who has promised to drain the swamp but, combined with Comey’s tenure, that’s fifteen and a half years where they saw no evil, heard no evil and said no evil even as Washington grew increasingly disconnected from the American people and citizen investigators were turning up massive amounts of evidence of fraud that demanded their attention.

It’s becoming hard not consider the probability that both Mueller and Comey were appointed because of their willingness to turn a blind eye to the deeply rooted corruption that was everywhere they looked.

Mueller’s choice of “investigators,” he’s chosen to surround himself with to carry out his responsibilities as Special Counsel, does nothing to alter the view that his plan is to protect the establishment – especially, Hillary Clinton.

Robert Mueller has brought 13 lawyers on board to handle the Russia investigation, with plans to hire more.  Mueller has made no attempt to balance the objectivity of his team.  They all are partisan Democrats including Jeannie Rhee who defended Hillary Clinton from FOIA requests related to her private email server.

It’s too obvious to miss: the Special Counsel has assembled a team of legal experts who share his resolve to avoid exposing establishment corruption wherever possible and to find legal excuses for those they determine they cannot simply dismiss.
