VIA| The current administration has used just about every agency under its control to put the squeeze on any and all Americans whose political ideals don’t align with their own. We’ve seen it with the IRS having unfairly targeted Tea Party groups and now we’re starting to see it with the EPS (Environment Protection Agency) – but not everyone is so keen on taking the abuse lying down.
According to recent reports, 12 states have banded together and unite in a lawsuit they will shortly be presenting to Obama.
Despite knowing full well that more government equates for bigger difficulties and larger expenses, Obama and his goon squad are adamant on retaining as much control over the population as possible. As we’ve seen they’re not afraid to use agencies in means in which they were not intended in order to do so as well.
As a result of the EPA coming down hard on certain businesses that they would like to be a bit more. . .compliant, shall we say? – many have become fed up with Obama’s antics and are determined to put a stop to it. Recently announced, West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey is spearheading a bipartisan coalition that is taking aim at the overstep of the EPA and putting control back into the hands of companies.
Fighting against the 2011 ruling in which the EPA has the right to monitor and limit carbon dioxide emissions from power plants, recently joined the ranks saying, “Our system doesn’t allow federal agencies to ‘improve’ or ‘fix’ laws to advance an agenda. That is what happened here: the EPA made a promise in 2011 to expand its authority to regulate greenhouse gas emissions from existing power plants.”
He went on to share that the root cause for the law is a bit more devious giving the government power to punish those who overstep their bounds. He furthermore explained, “Fortunately, the law doesn’t allow the agency to do what it wants. This lawsuit is about holding the EPA accountable to following the environmental statutes as passed by Congress. Oklahoma will continue to challenge the EPA – or any other federal agency – when it takes actions that undermine our system and the rule of law.”
This is just another overstep of Obama’s political power and a blatant attempt to ensure things get done the way he sees fit, regardless of the legality, through intimidation. As Congress has yet to get to the bottom of the IRS scandal, you can see why he’s so brazen – by the time they figure out what went wrong, he’ll be long gone and kicking back in a multimillion dollar retirement mansion paid for by U.S. tax payers.
