KIRSTERS BAISH| Liberals are always boasting about their contributions to the poor and how important their politics are to helping lower-class Americans. They are always claiming that the Republicans don’t care about the less wealthy, asserting that the right is a group of greedy old white men who don’t care about anyone but themselves. The left paints themselves as advocates for women and children, but there is one huge problem with claiming you are something you are not. You will be found out. That’s exactly what is happening to the Democratic Party, and the main culprits are the people the Dems have put their complete faith into, the Former First Family.
Conservatives have known for a long time how conniving and deceiving the Obamas are, but what has been happening recently is too much for even liberals to ignore. The Obamas lied about how much money they have, insisting that they come from very humble backgrounds, and claiming that they place very little value in riches and fortune. Since leaving the White House, the Obamas have been flitting from one fancy vacation to the next, spending amounts of money that most people could only ever dream of. Yeah, really humble people. Their bubble is slowly deflating now that everyone is finally seeing through their lies. Michelle was recently forced to end one of their lavish vacations early.
It has been half a year since Obama left office, and the Obama family has been jet setting around the world from one dream destination to the next, while most Americans are working their tails off to put food on the table. And this guy claims to be a man of the people. We wouldn’t knock someone who just spent eight years in the White House for taking his family on a vacation upon leaving office, but there is a huge difference between a nice family getaway and using American tax dollars to fund a six-month trip around the world. That’s right, the Obamas have been using your money to pay for their vacations.
I recently wrote an article about the vacations that the Obamas have been going on, but in case you missed it here’s a list of some of the places the family has been to in the last six months. Right after leaving office, the Obamas took a trip to Marlon Brando’s private island in Bali. Right after that trip the Obamas flew to the Four Seasons (where rooms cost upwards of $2,000 per night). After leaving the Four Seasons they took a trip to a Palm Springs estate. From there they spent some time at Sir Richard Branson’s Necker Island, which costs $80,000 per night. After that, they went to the Mid Pacific Country Club in Oahu, followed by the 13th century Borgo Finocchieto in Tuscany (where there is a three-night minimum stay, which includes a 22-room mansion that MUST be rented out in its entirety). The trips didn’t end there, however. They soon travelled to the Rising Sun followed by a trip on Hollywood studio mogul Daven Geffen’s private yacht. It sounds like a sick joke, but it isn’t, and unfortunately these trips were made on your dime.
“These are some of the most luxurious travel destinations in the world. Many of our clients spend tens of thousands of dollars or more to stay at these resorts, which cater to the most discriminating and demanding guests,” Kendra Thornton stated, travel expert and owner of the luxury travel agency Royal Travel. “For example, Necker Island has a nightly price tag of $80,000. Anyone who stays at these properties does so because they want the best of the best.”
Is this seriously what it takes for liberals to see through this entitled POS family? They need to wait until the Obamas spend all of our money on vacations for themselves before they see that this family is only out to help themselves, not the American citizens. A new bill is now being considered by Congress which would strip Barack Obama of his pension. The bill states that if a Former President is making more than $400,000 per year, their pension will be null and void. Let’s hope this thing passes so Obama can take it where it hurts, right in the money.
