KIRSTERS BAISH - Melania Trump proved to be as strong-willed and loyal to her family as her husband this week after hearing Mika Brzezinski spew out a verbal attack on her eleven-year-old son. Yup. Brzezinski resorted to name calling a child.
The “Morning Joe” co-host launched a verbal attack on Barron after President Trump made fun of her character, IQ and her overall appearance. President Trump is not shy when it comes to how he feels, especially about the MSNBC show’s hosts. Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski may have taken it too far when they dragged Trumps wife and child into the feud. And by a little we mean a lot.
During an interview with Brzezinski she made the bold statement saying that the first lady has the “worst job in the country.” She dug her hole even deeper when she decided to state that the only reason Melania was maintaining her role as first lady was because of her son, Barron.
Brzezinski said during the interview:
“I know Melania. I haven’t talked to her in months, but if my gut is right, I don’t think she’s going to put up with it much longer. I know nothing. That’s just my instinct, and I go with my gut, and my gut’s always right. I’m just telling you, Melania’s got the worst job in the country, and I don’t think she wants to do it a lot longer. I think she will do it for as long as she has to for her son, and that’s it.”
It didn’t take long for Melania to load up her verbal attack gun in preparation to destroy Brzezinski once and for all. The first lady remained composed and kept her wits about her when she made her statement in response to Brzezinski’s statements. Melania declared that Brzezinski in fact did not “know” her at all and she was only attempting to use the Trump family to further her own political agenda. Somehow, I think we all knew that prior to the first lady’s statement.
Melania seemed sad when she stated “it is sad when people try to further their own agenda by commenting on me and my family, especially when they don’t know me.”
The first lady’s motherly instincts took over and she said what she honestly felt in order to defend not only herself, but her son as well. This past year has been rough for the Trump family, constantly being under fire by the liberal media. Melania is doing everything that she can in order to protect Barron from the hurtful things that far-left liberals continue to say and do.
After an extremely trying election it has taken some extra time for Melania and Barron to become comfortable with their new life. This past month they have officially joined President Trump in the White House. The once private Barron has been winning us over with his daring wardrobe and charm.
Since Trump was sworn in back in January Barron has been under fire for just about everything. He has been called autistic, been made fun of for his looks, been labeled a “homeschool shooter”, been called an animal mutilator, and for the cherry on top he has been called a murderer. These verbal attacks have been made on this young boy by adults.
Clearly any relationship Melania may have had with Brzezinski prior to her recent statements is long gone.
Being the wife of a president who is actually trying to make real changes in a country when we are living in a time and place where, unfortunately, many Americans don’t want to see real change must get tiring. I think we can all back Melania up in her poised defense of her son.
