KIRSTERS BAISH| President Donald Trump spent Independence Day at the White House accompanied by families of military personnel and staff members. He wanted to celebrate our country’s special day with men and women who fight every single day to defend what we have worked so hard to achieve.
Following his heartfelt speech, President Trump and First Lady Melania sat down with the families on the South Lawn to enjoy a good old fashioned American picnic. Afterwards, they viewed the firework show from the Truman Balcony.
President Trump and his family will spend this coming weekend in Bedminster.
Trump was quoted saying:
“May God bless you all. May God bless our military. May God bless forever the United States of America.”
A lovely sentiment to our men and women fighting overseas. Let’s see how long it takes the left to bash him for putting “God” in there. The media is going to have a field day with this one.
