KIRSTERS BAISH - It comes as no surprise that Barack Obama once again violated the Logan Act. We could let him off easy and say that maybe he didn’t know that it was a felony… only problem is that he was well aware. This violation comes with an all-inclusive trip to jail, just where Obama belongs. For those of you who are not familiar with the Logan Act all you really need to know is that by violating this act Obama essentially committed treason.
The Wikipedia definition of the Logan Act goes like this:
“The Logan Act (1 Stat. 613, 18 U.S.C. § 953, enacted January 30, 1799) is a United States federal law that details the fine and/or imprisonment of unauthorized citizens who negotiate with foreign governments having a dispute with the United States. It was intended to prevent the undermining of the government’s position. The Act was passed following George Logan’s unauthorized negotiations with France in 1798, and was signed into law by President John Adams on January 30, 1799. The Act was last amended in 1994, and violation of the Logan Act is a felony.”
The most current issue we are having with Obama is plain and simple… he isn’t the president anymore and continues to act like he is. He seems to put his own personal freedoms on a pedestal while he could give a shit about the rest of the citizens of the United States.
In a report by the Daily Caller it has been made known that former United States President Barack Obama spent roughly 40 minutes in a meeting on Monday with South Korean President Moon Jae. Take a wild guess as to what the topic of their conversation was… yup, you guessed it, Obama’s successor, President Donald Trump.
Apparently during this meeting Moon confided in Obama about his most recent encounters with President Donald Trump, which were held in Washington. He requested advice from Former President Obama in order to improve his relationship with current President Donald Trump. The whole thing leaves us all a little shocked and confused. Why would Moon ask Obama how to improve his relationship with Trump? Trump and Obama aren’t exactly the closest of pals. Interesting approach… almost as interesting as Obama continuing to act as though he is in charge of something.
The whole thing leaves a sour taste in our mouths. Was Obama really just trying to help? It’s hard to trust a man who never seems to display the characteristics of an individual who can be trusted. Unfortunately for Obama, it leaves us thinking that he was only trying to do damage to President Trump’s reputation.
Even though Obama is on the record stating that he appreciated George W. Bush’s silence during his tenure he claimed “I am still a citizen and that carries with it duties and obligations.” Uh, okay Obama. It sounds like you need to get your head out of your ass long enough to realize that there is a new president in charge and to be blunt, you’re kind of washed up at this point. If Obama really wanted to follow through with his “duties” as a U.S. citizen he should probably stop violating the Logan act.
